Moving on With Your Real Life

People live like they have a contract to live forever. Do you have this contract? I know I did in my past life. But I finally woke up to life. Even my son noticed that I was sleeping a few years back. He said to me "Mom you're sleeping." We actually had this conversation a few days ago. I think I was half conscious at the time he stated these words. Not totally asleep, otherwise I wouldn't understand what he was expressing, unless his statement made me half conscious. I'm not sure how it went. I didn't want to wake up fully for fear of having to see things as they really are and having to make a change; having to make a decision to do something about my situation.

Sometimes I still do this half conscious thing for certain things in my life. You know how it is. You can become aware of certain issues in your life because they are the easier ones to deal with.

But there are some other underlying issues that have greater pain and discomfort, and many times we like to pretend or deny that they are not there for fear of facing them. To move forward, we must face our demons and our buried feelings, though. We must allow them to surface and then let them go, no matter how uncomfortable they are. We must learn to embrace our complete self instead of accepting some feelings and denying others.

The deeper the pain or resentment, the more times these emotion may need to surface. Spiritual enlightenment is not an easy process and if anyone tells you it is, they have never gone through it themselves. I understand this from my own experience. Illumination takes someone with a strong will and a courageous heart to see things as they really, then make conscious choices by seeing other possibilities; to forgive through atonement, let go and move forward.

When is your now to move on with your life? I'll be 45 this year come December. My transformation began about six years ago and I am now a proud holder of a Ph.D specializing in Mystical Research with the International Metaphysical Ministry, and I am still moving forward with other plans. I would have never done this if I was still asleep. My kids woke me up. What will it take for you to wake up to life? I'm glad I didn't wait until I was 55 or even 60. But even if you are 55 or more, you still have many years ahead of you. What is stopping you from living a life with inner-peace, calm and serenity?
